As CIT's CEO, Pete works with many diverse communities: university faculty and administration, fortune 500 executives, entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, industry associations, and officials from federal, state, and local governments in fulfilling CIT's mission. Pete came to CIT with 23 years of technology industry expertise. He has experience in all aspects of business operations including market assessment, strategic planning, product development, sales, merger and acquisition, and operational delivery. Previously, he was Senior Vice President of ArcSight during company initiation and initial product development. ArcSight later sold to Hewlett Packard for $1.5 billion. Prior to ArcSight, Pete was chief operating officer of Condor Technology Solutions, a web and e-business solutions provider. Pete began his career at Electronic Data Systems (EDS), where he worked for 20 years. His most recent position at EDS was vice president and general manager, responsible for providing large-scale integration, software development, and outsourcing services for government clients.
